Casement Windows

Casement windows are constructed of a frame into which a number of opening sashes or fixed panes are attached. Casement windows remain a popular, practical and versatile choice.

We offer a range of beautiful styles, with opening configurations and sizes to suit and with decorative glass and Georgian bar options to complement the style of your home. Fire-escape stays are a fitment option that will ensure the opener can be extended wide enough to allow egress in an emergency.

French Windows

French windows consist of an outer frame, into which dual split openers are fitted with a mullion attached to one of the openers. This continental-style window allows one opener to be opened as with a casement window, but also both openers can be opened to give a completely unobstructed view with no fixed frame being in the way.

Bow and Bay Windows

Bay windows are a series of windows arranged in a polygon shape, usually with three or five windows. A bay window is installed on top of brickwork in the same shape, while a bow window "hangs" on a vertical wall, giving the benefits of a bay window without the hassles of building and planning permission. Bow and bay windows are a great way of enlarging a room and adding a distinguishing feature to the front of a house.

Vertical Sliding Sash Windows

Vertical sliding sash windows have a timeless elegance, now available without all the maintenance headaches associated with their timber counterparts. Crafted with attention to detail, they have the authentic looks of the original sash window of a distinguished era, retaining the original character of the property itself, but bringing all the benefits of enhanced security and insulation of double-glazing.

Specialist Windows Styles

The tilt and turn window is popular where an inward opening application is required, for instance where outside shutters prevent a window from opening outwards.

It operates simply into 'ventilation mode', where the top of the sash tilts inwards. On closing the sash and further rotating the handle, the hinge mechanism is engaged, allowing the sash to swing inwards for an easier and safer outside windowpane to clean.

Glass Styles

In addition to the patterns shown here, glass can have diamond or square lead effects in white, grey or gold and we can offer a range of bevelled and stained glass designs. As well as these visual options, we can offer Pilkington Activ self-cleaning glass and glass with subtle tints. As per the latest building regulations, all our glass units are installed with a low-emissivity coating to reflect heat and save energy. For added security, toughened or laminated glass units are also available (where not already mandatory, depending on size and location).
